Awake from the darkness of winter.

With eyes opened

caress the beauty

and strength of life.


Awake from the depression

and sorrow,

and forget your companion,

Solitude.


Awake to the possibilities

and promise,

and rejoice

that morning has come.


Awake from your sleep,

and hide your eyes

never more.
